Teeth

The results of poor dental hygiene...
Or maybe having nothing to blog about.
Here is how our week went: school, play outside, eat dinner, take bath, go to bed. On Saturday and Sunday B and D asked if they could go to school. So they LOVE school and Adam and I LOVE that they LOVE school.
Here's something cute; this is the prayer they say at mealtime at school:
God is Good , God is Great, let us thank Him for our food. Amen. Life's Good. Eat.

Hurricane Ike/ O-H-I-O

It's Saturday at the D'Port house which means one thing- FOOTBALL...every Saturday for the past three seasons, the kids have worn their Ohio State "gear". This year it's been the football jersey and the cheerleader uniform. As you can see all the "kids" are happy. I failed to take a photo of the big kid after the OSU USC game...All I can say is Beanie Wells - when are you coming back????
The Men

This photo is great!

Today was also the day Hurricane Ike hit the Galveston/Houston area. We are praying that it did not do a ton of damage and that no one was seriously hurt. But it also put a damper on our ability to play outside. If it would just stop for 2 minutes - Braden and Delani would be out there running up the street to the Penny's House. This is random, but I need to add that we did go to the Pennys this morning when it wasn't raining. One of our favorite things to do is to go to their house on Saturday mornings. Braden and Delani get to wake up the big kids Robby, Sarah and who ever else happens to be sleeping at their house.

Dad thought B and D had been inside long enough!! He put their boots on and let them play in the street!! They had soo much fun!!

This is a photo of Braden's Bass Pro boat. He was soo excited to see the boat race down the road. Adam tells me that when he was a kid, he and Andy would have leaf races down the street. Guess they couldn't afford a boat?? hehehe!!

Haircut!!!

Braden got his haircut today! The last two times his Papa has taken him to get a haircut. Braden has loved being able to spend time alone with his Papa. He even got a nice cut from the scissors on his neck and did not cry:) He looks so cute.

OK- tonight the kids wanted to play "baby", so Braden was the baby and Delani the babysitter first. Here is Delani holding "baby Braden". When Braden no longer wanted to be held, she tried to corral him back to lying on the sofa.

Next it was Braden's turn to "babysit", I don't think he will drum up much business.

Last we have some funny faces...the kids love to take these photos and immediately look at them. Remember when you had to wait one hour to get photos...what would these kids do??
